Located along Beachdrive in West Seattle this combination of duplex and single-story home had wonderful sweeping views of the Puget Sound and the sunset over the Olympic mountains. Although not large, the open floor plan and extensive glazing on the westerly facing facade overlooking the waterfront, created the illusion of a much larger home. The living room, dining room, and master bedroom open wide the outside environment utilizing the outdoor spaces as additional living spaces. The warm, organic, cedar siding, and other natural materials blend in beautifully with the surrounding context and combine to give this home a distinct sense of place and belonging.
